The Ottawa Senators Alumni Bursary & the Kathleen Elizabeth Ward Sibling Bursary have been awarded. Congratulations to Ellen Gandy who will be awarded the Sens Alumni Bursary and to Ryan MacLeod, the successful candidate of the Sibling Bursary.
This year, we had an unprecedented number of application submissions. Thank you to everyone who completed an application. Please note that if you were not successful this year, you can re-submit next year.

To E. Neville Ward – you have enabled us to achieve our goal of expanding the support we provide siblings of childhood cancer patients, and you have done it in a loving and truly wonderful way. Kathleen Elizabeth Ward Sibling Bursary was created in honor and memory of Neville’s mother, Kathleen Elizabeth Ward, Centenarian (1906 – 2006).

Parking Program
Yes, I don’t need to tell any of you that the Parking Program has undergone some changes. I appreciate your patience in the transition period, which we are still in. Once again, I ask that you contact the office when renewing or initiating your parking pass, and please identify your child’s name, your family name if different from your child’s and whether or not you are calling for a monthly or frequent user pass. Patti processes the requests on a weekly basis. I’d like to thank Harold McDermott at CHEO for his patience and efforts throughout these past few months. Things are likely to require everyone’s ongoing patience and I’ll thank you all in advance for remembering to take a deep breath and count to ten when experiencing “bumps in the road”.
Bereaved Parents Support Group
